PWS Title: Supply Technician
Location: Panama City Beach, FL
Clearance Type: Secret
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify materials against purchase documents; record all receipts in Navy ERP.
- Tag, label, and store property in accordance with NAVSUP P-529 and DoDM 4140.27 Shelf-Life Management.
- Prepare issue, transfer, and turn-in documentation ensuring proper audit trails.
- Conduct cyclic inventories, location surveys, and discrepancy reconciliations.
- Assist in physical inventory counts and data validation per Government direction.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in maintaining secure, organized storage environments and safe material handling practices.
- Maintain files and logs in compliance with SECNAV M-5210.1 Records Management Manual.
Required Qualifications:
- High-school diploma / GED; Associate’s degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in Navy or DoD supply or warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of supply-documentation standards (DD 1348-1A, DD 250, DD 1149, etc.).
- Familiarity with Navy ERP and DPAS data-entry procedures.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate material-handling equipment (MHE)
Preferred Qualifications:
- NAVSUP P-723 / P-538 training or certification
- OSHA Forklift Operator Certification
