PWS Title: Shipping / Receiving Clerk
Location: Panama City Beach, FL
Clearance Type: Secret
Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against documentation; report discrepancies.
- Prepare outbound shipments, create DD 1149 or DD 250 forms, and ensure proper packaging per MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129R.
- Update property records in Navy ERP and maintain chain-of-custody documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers, couriers, and Government personnel for timely transport.
- Maintain logs of shipments, bills of lading, and material movement records.
- Support audit and inspection activities by providing shipment histories and supporting documents.
Required Qualifications:
- High-school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving within a DoD or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with Navy ERP and DPAS transaction codes for receipts and issues.
- Working knowledge of DoD transportation documentation and security requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA Forklift License; HAZMAT Handling Certification
