Position title: Lead NSC/Voice Technician
Location: San Antonio, TX
Clearance required: TOP SECRET/SCI
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provide oversight for NSC operations and act as the primary point of contact for NSC-related orders.
- Coordinate with Government leads to synchronize activities and resolve technical challenges.
- Deliver weekly NSC ticket and status reports to the CSO and COR.
- Ensure the NSC’s adherence to Air Force policies, regulatory compliance, and operational security standards.
- Support and maintain network backbone infrastructure, routing and switching devices, and ensure continuous availability and high performance across all CCSD-occupied buildings.
- Ensure compliance with industry/regulatory standards (e.g., TIA, ITIL, BICSI, NEC, ISO 9000), and Air Force and DoD security requirements.
- Provide asset management of networking equipment and support for networked systems across various security levels (NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, NSANet, Tier1 networks).
- Support voice/video systems, including VoIP and VTC operations, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for successful implementation.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Cisco network routers and switches, advanced networking principles (routing, switching, OSI Reference Model), Air Force network configuration and operation.
- Preferred certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Server 2008 or higher, VMWare 5.1 or higher, and vSphere administration.
