Position title: Environmental Compliance and Radiation Safety Specialist (Senior)
Location: Camp Lejune, North Carolina
Clearance required: SECRET
Scope: Lead environmental, HAZMAT, and radiation safety programs for a special operations command.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Manage environmental compliance, HAZMAT/HAZWASTE programs, and radiation safety.
- Conduct inspections and maintain compliance records.
- Manage permits and reporting; deliver training.
- Investigate and report mishaps, coordinate with installation environmental offices.
- 8 years overall, including 5 years in environmental management.
- Completion of safety/mishap, HAZMAT, and Radiation Safety Manager courses.
- Able to lift 30 lbs. and wear PPE.
- Active Secret clearance and a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Radiation Safety Officer credential; OSHA/EPA certifications.
