What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler position at People Science?
Our client, an AS9100-certified company with over 60 years of success, is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join their team! In this role, you’ll help build shipping containers and other products by assembling parts and subassemblies.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Assemble components using hand and power tools
- Follow basic blueprints and instructions
- Work with a team to meet daily production goals
What We’re Looking For:
Level 1 (Entry-Level)
- At least 1 year of assembly or related experience
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of blueprints
- Ability to work under supervision and meet goals
Level 2 (Mid-Level)
- 3–5 years of assembly experience
- Experience operating a variety of machines
- Solid understanding of department processes
Level 3 (Advanced)
- 5 years of assembly experience
- Experience in aerospace or defense industries is a big plus
- Strong knowledge of assembly processes and equipment
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
- Forklift certification
- Blueprint reading certification

Hourly Pay (Weekly):
- Level 1: $17–$19
- Level 2: $19–$21
- Level 3: $21–$25
