Produce Stocker/Cashier - Part Time
People's Food Co-op is looking for a friendly, dependable person to join our team as a part-time Produce Stocker/Cashier. This position works in both our Produce Department and at the register, helping keep our produce displays stocked and inviting while providing friendly, helpful service to our customers.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Status: Part-time
What You'll Do
- Stock, rotate, and maintain fresh produce displays
- Check produce for quality and freshness
- Keep the Produce Department clean, organized, and well stocked
- Assist customers with questions and help them find products
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly and welcoming customer service
- Bag purchases and assist customers as needed
- Help maintain a clean and organized store
- Work cooperatively with other staff and departments
Requirements

- Able to provide helpful, respectful customer service
- Able to stay organized and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing the physical tasks associated with stocking
- Previous retail, grocery, produce, or cashier experience is helpful, but not required
