What are the responsibilities and job description for the Domestic Violence Support Staff position at People's Place?
PT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SUPPORT STAFF: Part-time position working overnight (10pm-8am) with survivors of domestic violence and their children in residential, trauma-informed shelters located in Kent and Sussex Counties. Major responsibilities include responding to hotline callers, safety planning, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment that promotes the wellbeing of residents. Documentation, data collection and data entry required. Must be flexible and available to work weekends and holidays. High school completion required. Experience working with individuals with trauma histories is preferred.
