Bayshore Properties is looking for a Strategy & Operations Analyst who's excited to roll up their sleeves, solve real problems, and help shape the future of our growing multifamily portfolio.
This is an in-person role based in Chicago where you'll work closely with the CEO, COO, CSO, and onsite operations teams. If you love blending analytics, operations, and hands-on problem-solving-and you want your work to matter-this could be your place.
What You'll Do
You'll be the go-to person for turning data into action across our communities. Your work will include:
Operational Strategic Projects
· Spot what's working, what's not, and build solutions to improve NOI and efficiency
· Partner with leadership and property teams to streamline processes and fix bottlenecks
· Build dashboards and reporting that help us run smarter
· Help roll out new systems, tech, and process improvements
Multifamily Performance & Support
· Analyze leasing, occupancy, expenses, marketing, and resident trends
· Benchmark communities and highlight opportunities to improve operations
· Support annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans
· Help guide onsite teams using real data and real insights
Acquisitions & Growth
· Support underwriting for new property acquisitions
· Conduct due diligence and market studies
· Help build integration plans and track performance post-close
· Create investor and leadership materials that drive decisions
Business Intelligence & Reporting
· Build dashboards and portfolio-level tracking
· Turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
· Support ad-hoc research and special projects across departments

What You'll Bring
· 3–5 years of MULTIFAMILY experience (required-this is a must)
· Strong analytical problem-solving skills
· Fluent in Excel; extra points for Power BI/Tableau/Domo or similar tools
· Ability to turn data into decisions, not just spreadsheets
· Comfort working in a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment
· A proactive mindset-you don't wait to be told what's broken
· Great communication skills and a collaborative work style
· Ability to be in the Chicago office 4–5 days a week
