Thin Film Coating Engineer / Material & Process Engineer
People Integra LLC is hiring Entry-Level, Level II, and Level III Thin Film Coating Engineers/Material & Process Engineers to join an innovative engineering team developing advanced thin-film coating technologies for cutting-edge applications.

π Location: Santa Rosa, CA (Onsite)
π Duration: 12-Month Contract | Possible Contract-to-Hire & Extension
π Schedule: 4/10 Work Week (Mon-Thu, 10hrs/day)
π Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
We're Hiring at Three Experience Levels:
πΉ Entry Level (0-1 Years)
Ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers with a degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
πΉ Level II (1-2 Years)
Experience with:
- Thin Film Coatings
- Thin Film Materials
- Sputtered Thin Film Deposition
- Manufacturing or Process Development
- Roll-to-Roll Deposition (Preferred)
πΉ Level III (5 Years)
Extensive experience with:
- Thin Film Coating Design
- Sputtered Thin Film Deposition
- Roll-to-Roll Manufacturing
- Optical Coating Development
- Process Qualification
- Manufacturing Support
- Technical Leadership
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced thin film coating solutions
- Support prototype, production, and manufacturing activities
- Optimize coating performance and manufacturing processes
- Analyze metrology data and implement process improvements
- Troubleshoot coating and manufacturing challenges
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management teams.
- Support equipment qualification and process validation
- Maintain engineering documentation
- Participate in customer meetings and technical reviews
