Job Description –
Job Title - Automation Test Engineer IV
Working Model: Hybrid, candidate needs on-site when needed, prefers more local candidates to Wilmington, NC
Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, flexible, Monday - Friday
Interview Process: Virtual with cameras on, panel, 1 round
In this role, the Engineer will develop automated test programs, specifications, inspections, & documentation for electronics components & their replacement parts for nuclear power plant applications. They will interface with Sourcing and Quality personnel and with suppliers & GVH product departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop manual or automated production test procedures to ensure product’s reliability and functionality.
- Ensure on time delivery of detailed design and technical support for manufacturing & tests;
- Provide power electronic solutions for products & projects
- Demonstrate your analog and digital electronics design knowledge managing requirements, designing, verifying and testing power distribution and controls products.
- Use your knowledge of the product development lifecycle to provide technical support to the team and the wider business.
- Have excellent technical problem-solving skills; to be able to assess problems thoroughly and drive logical conclusions (i.e. common-sense approach, not embarrassed to ask the “obvious” questions).
- Support the team in resolving technical issues in support of current projects, equipment under test, or in-service platforms;
- Provide technical support to technicians for various testing activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering from an accredited university/college, equivalent qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of power electronics experience in an Engineering position
- Prior experience with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand

- Hands on experience with measurement instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
- Programming experience in LabView.
- Experience using automated test systems and writing automated test programs.
- Experience writing Technical Documents.
