Shift: Rotating Shift/ Day (3x12 Hours) 7:00am to 7:30pm / Night (3x12 Hours) 7:00pm to 7:30am
PEDIATRIC OR LABOR AND DELIVERY experience required.
Role Description
This is an on-site, contract Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role located in Largo, MD. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support, as needed. Key responsibilities include monitoring and recording vital signs, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing emotional support to patients. The CNA will collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care is delivered effectively and compassionately.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in assisting patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, feeding, moving, and other personal care tasks)
- Experience in taking and documenting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
- Familiarity with infection control practices and maintaining hygiene standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Possession of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification approved by the relevant state board
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is an advantage
- CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus
