Title - PLC Programmer

Experience – 7 to 10 years

Salary – $55 to $60/hr

Location – Pawcatuck, Connecticut (onsite only)

Job Description:

Controls Programmer

Scope: Provide controls programming and commissioning support for custom industrial machinery, including new machine development, customer orders, retrofits, and field service projects.

Must have experience:

• 5 years Industrial Controls Programming experience

• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience

• HMI development and operator interface design

• Experience with machine automation, motion control, and safety systems

• Industrial networking including Ethernet/IP and Profinet

• ETO environment experience

Preferred Experience:

• Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View)

• Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and WinCC

• Servo motion control, VFDs, and machine safety systems

• Plastics extrusion or converting equipment

• FAT, SAT, and customer site commissioning

Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify PLC, HMI, and motion control programs

• Configure and troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, industrial networks, and safety systems

• Create and maintain controls documentation, I/O lists, and software revision records

• Support machine startup, FAT, SAT, and commissioning

• Collaborate cross-functionally and troubleshoot controls issues
