About the Practice
Austin Primary Care is a 40 year established outpatient practice serving the Barberton community. We are now part of the People Check family of businesses, allowing us to expand services while maintaining a supportive, non-corporate environment.
We focus on quality patient care, realistic scheduling, and provider autonomy—not productivity quotas or overbooking.
The Role
We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP) to manage an established primary care panel, with occasional variety through occupational health services.
You’ll work alongside an experienced clinical team in a setting designed to be efficient, collaborative, and sustainable long-term.
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
- Monday–Friday
- 4-day work week option available
- No routine nights, weekends, or holidays
- Minimal call (very low volume, phone-based)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care (acute & chronic conditions)
- Preventive visits and routine follow-ups
- Document in eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- Collaborate with NPs and support staff
- Occasional occupational health coverage (physicals, work-related care)
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license
- Board Certified (FNP preferred)
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment and efficiency
- Primary care experience preferred
