Salary: $22-$26/hrPeople Architects is excited to hire for an Finance and Loan Assistant role for our direct client. in Cleveland Ohio.The general purpose of this position is to provide excellent customer service internally andexternally by assisting with loan servicing, accounts payable and receivable functions;assisting with audit workpaper preparation; and by assisting borrowers with submittingapplications and due diligence for new loans. This position will work under the guidance ofthe Controller and Senior Lending Officer.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable and processing/recordingbusiness and financial transactionsAbility to assist in maintaining accurate financial and loan recordsPost receipts, disbursements and other transactions to ensure integrity of controls andtimely and accurate completion of monthly account reconciliations.Working knowledge of, and/or previous experience in commercial mortgage bankingand loan servicing procedures.Ability to review and track commercial loan documents (follow-up to assure alloriginal documents [promissory note, deed of trust, final ALTA policy, hazardinsurance] are received) and uploaded to Network.Strong organizational skills with an ability to organize invoices, payments, loanrecords and monitor accounts to maintain accurate financial recordsExtensive experience and proficiency in all computer applications including MSExcel, Word, Outlook, Adobe, Loan Processing software and other Web-basedprograms. Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.Maintain servicing of new loans on mortgage accounting software for the life of loan(posting payments, disbursements, and managing the process for updating accountrecords).An ability to develop an understanding of the nuances of church building loans (vs commercial loans made by traditional banks and other lenders); the products and services tailored to church borrowers and the needs, challenges, and opportunities in the field of church-owned real estate.Ability to relate and clearly communicate with operating management, financial staff and other departments.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able toperform each essential duty satisfactorily. Salary : $50,000 - $90,000
