What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer/Machinist position at People Architects?
People Architects is excited to partner with a well-established machining services firm in Solon, Ohio to find a skilled Large Part CNC Programmer/Machinist.
If you have 5 years of CNC setup and machining experience and expertise in Fanuc control, G-code, and multi-axis turning centers, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What You’ll Do:
✔ Set up and operate 2-5 axis turning machines and 3-5 axis machining centers
✔ Troubleshoot programs and machining processes
✔ Work on high-value, low-volume precision components (1-10 pieces)
✔ Ensure proper tooling and machine parameters
What You Bring:
✔ 5 years of CNC machining experience (setup & operation)
✔ Strong G-code proficiency (CAD/CAM a plus)
✔ Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawing features
✔ Experience with tool offsets and steady rest/tail stock
✔ Own tools required
