Shift Coordinator

Availability Requirements:  40 hours per week (open availability for nights and weekends).

Job Duties: 

• Perform opening and closing shifts as the Manager on Duty (MOD)

• Serve as a coach and role model - you set the tone for the entire salon while MOD

• Supporting all support professionals, including schedules, approving and blocking of appointment books and call offs
• Responsible for petty cash, deposits, cash drawers, and other duties as assigned by management
• Attend company meetings as required

• Support the team by providing innovative solutions to guest concerns in a timely manner
• Perform opening/closing duties within the salon
• Provide extraordinary guest service

Job Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm and excellent written and verbal communication skill
• In addition to maintaining a professional appearance (hair, make-up and fashion forward image)
• Proven leadership skills and excellent organizational skills required
• Excellent written verbal communication skills
• Previous successful managerial experience
• Strong interest in a leadership role guiding a team to success
• Ability desire to work in a fast-paced (sometimes challenging) environment
• Track record of high achievement and a sense of self-motivation
• Glaring attention to detail and organization
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• 21 y/o preferred
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Capable willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Ability to travel between all of our Salon Locations - primarily Short North, Italian Village German Village
