What are the responsibilities and job description for the Control Technician position at Pentec Health?
The Pharmacy Control Technician is responsible for stocking the cleanrooms and warehouse with materials necessary to daily production operations. These responsibilities include disinfecting materials entering the cleanroom, transfer of finished product out of the cleanroom, and inventory management.
Essential Job Duties:
- Maintaining a state of control within all cleanroom complexes by performing cleaning activities of controlled areas and equipment.
- Disinfecting all materials and inventory needed for sterile compounding in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Ensuring cleanroom complexes are adequately stocked with materials and inventory to facilitate all compounding activities.
- Is available for necessary Remedial and Additional Cleaning(s) scheduled at the discretion of pharmacy leadership or as required by environmental/mechanical events and findings.
*Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent time management skills including reliability, punctuality, and adherence to the production team’s schedule.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, ability to work cohesively in teams, and attention to detail.

The employee will repetitively lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. In addition, the employee will be required to safely maneuver wheeled carts with up to 1,000 lbs. of cargo.

Salary Range: $19-20 an hour
