Pentco Industries is a leader in the kitchen cabinet door industry providing laminate, melamine, acrylic and painted doors to the single and multifamily industry. Pentco's US facility is located in Ferndale WA. We are expanding our business in the USA and are looking for a dynamic individual who is experienced in networking with Architects, Designers, and Kitchen Cabinet Designers. our corporate office is located in Surrey, BC is an 80,000 sq.ft. state of the art facility and has been in business since 1979. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team and grow our business on the West Coast.
Core functions of the specification representative
- Complete a monthly call and mileage report with detailed information regarding each call.
- Share project information by updating the company’s CRM that provides visibility to customer service, manufacturing and purchasing.
- Update and track project information in the company’s CRM program.
- Company expects on average a minimum of 5 calls per day.
- Deliver door samples, binders and chain sets to customers during the call or as requested by the customers
- Must be able to install and update sample wall boards – Approximate weight 25 lbs.
- Meet and exceed sales goals established by management.
- Determine market share percentage by customer and product type.
- Follow up all projects to ensure we have accurate information in order to meet start dates.
- Have an overall understanding of price points of various products the company sells (Melamine / Vinyl/ Laminate /PET/ Acrylic doors and laminate sheets
- Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time throughout the Pacific Northwest.
- Perform a minimum of 15 lunch and learns per year.
- Profile Architects / Designers/ Developers in terms of core business and key products used.
- Meet and exceed sales goals established by management. Goals and objectives are mutually established to ensure the company focuses on market needs.
- Update and maintain an accurate A & D and Kitchen Cabinet database.
- Maintain a vehicle that is in good running order and presentable to customers.
- Participate and prepare for sales meetings as requested by management
- Comprehensive training will be provided by the company to ensure the employee is trained in all products. The employee will travel with different team members from time to time to learn the company’s sales strategy.
- Follow up all projects to ensure we have accurate information in order to secure inventory for the project.
- Must be willing to travel at least 30% of the time and work trade shows as requested by management.
- Perform any duty requested by the President, Sales Manager or Owners
- Work from a home office.
- Need a passport to travel to Canada from time to time.
Required Education/Skills/Experience:
· Experience in calling on and making presentations to Architects / Designers.
· A college / community degree with a minimum of 5 years experience
· Self-driven, motivated and results oriented
· Must have moderate ability to operate in Microsoft word /excel/ power point
· Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with, co-workers and management.
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
· Must have the ability to follow verbal and written communications/instructions

Compensation / Benefits
Job Type: Full-time
Range: $75,000 to $95,000 based on performance.
