Job Title: Telematics Automation Test Lead
Location: Columbus, IN
Duration: Long Term
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the automation test strategy for telematics and connected vehicle programs
- Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts for telematics systems and vehicle connectivity features Validate end‑to‑end telematics workflows including ECU → Vehicle Network → Cloud → Mobile/Web applications
- Analyse requirements, test cases, and system specifications to identify automation scope
- Perform data validation for GPS, CAN, diagnostics, events, alerts, and telemetry data
- Debug test failures, analyse logs, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and best practices
- Continuously enhance automation frameworks and improve test coverage
Required Skills & Competencies
- 5-7 years of experience in test automation, preferably in telematics automotive domains
- Experience in automation testing using tools/frameworks such as Python, Selenium, REST‑Assured, on board diagnostics tools.
- Strong understanding of telematics systems, vehicle connectivity, and IoT architectures
- Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, UDS, MQTT, HTTP/REST, TCP/IP)
- Experience in API testing and validation of backend services
- Familiarity with Linux/embedded environments and log analysis
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Good communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, electronics & communication or a related field
