Job description:
- BS Degree or higher in ME.
- Minimum of 7 years of automotive experience in using Catia for 3D design.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing BIW components
- A related advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle styling and packaging.
- Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) required.
- Experience with Catia v6 (3DX) is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with vehicle simulation, especially in Body rigidity, NVH, and Crash, is highly preferred.
- Ability to program in VBA and EKL to automate design workflows is highly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities to handle simultaneous projects and support requests.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise between design and CAE teams.
- Use industry best practices and up-to-date technologies to identify inefficiencies and improve the design process.
- A self-starter who proactively accomplishes tasks with minimal guidance.
