What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer (Genset experience is mandatory) position at Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group?
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Mechanical & Electrical components packaging design.
- Hands on experience and knowledge in design, manufacturing processes of large enclosures (Gensets)
- Project management experience
- Previous experience in Genset is desired
- Experience in managing large assemblies and Bill of Material
- Pricelist and configuration management experience will be plus
- Lead and manage requirements definition, design concepts, analysis/simulation, design down select, validation activities.
- Collaborate with internal process partners, suppliers, and internal/external customers on multiple projects that will be taking place simultaneously
- Create and present informal and formal design reviews
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum and 3 years of progressive work experience
- Component and system level design experience
- Experience with Electric Power Gensets, Large Engines Design & Development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
Top Candidates will also have:
- Experience in CREO 3D modeling tools
- Experience in Teamcenter Engineering tools and/or other PLM tools
- Knowledge of Engine components and sub-systems
- Component level design experience with mechanical fabrications
