Job Description (Day to Day Responsibilities):
This individual will work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply management teams to execute embedded electronic design activities and support project deliverables aligned to the statement of work.
Responsibilities include:
· Create and analyze technical requirements to determine the best electrical design solution for assigned projects
· Execute microprocessor-based embedded electronic designs for vehicle and/or fixed equipment applications
· Perform detailed analog and digital circuit analysis, simulation, integration, and verification activities
· Develop test and analysis plans to support product verification and validation
· Compile and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design calculations, and validation results
· Provide on-site technical support to manufacturing, quality, and supply management organizations as needed

Specific Tasks:
· Author requirements documents and technical design documentation for assigned electrical engineering work
· Document circuit analysis, simulation results, and design calculations by agreed-upon due dates
· Author and execute verification and validation test plans and document test results
· Support product integration and on-site verification activities for embedded electronic systems
· Release or support release of product Bills of Materials and related engineering documentation
· Maintain accurate project documentation and provide updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and technical needs
· Engage with John Deere engineers, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical questions and support project execution
· Provide on-site technical support to manufacturing, quality, and supply management teams during development and validation activities
Required Capabilities (How will we measure fit?):
· Must be able to explain experience with electrical design, circuit analysis, and technical problem solving in embedded systems environments
· Must demonstrate experience working in collaborative engineering teams to complete technical deliverables on schedule
· Must be able to engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers
· Must demonstrate understanding of verification and validation processes, technical documentation, and engineering change/release practices
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field (required)
· Experience with embedded electronics design, circuit analysis, technical documentation, and engineering test/validation tools preferred
