Job Description
- Detailed knowledge in the design of interior electromechanical and/or decorative products
- Extensive experience and a thorough understanding of the Automotive industry and product development processes
- In-depth experience of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within Design Engineering including basic stress-strain analysis, Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, tolerance stacks and root cause analysis
- UG NX & Team Center experience is a plus. Training will be provided as required.
- Ability to provide creative and practical design solutions to meet Customer requirements
- Advanced mathematical, technical and mechanical skills with an emphasis on hands-on experience
- Strong communication skills with an ability to lead and oversee the work of others
- Experience with the automotive PPAP process, engineering change systems and business processes
- Experience in high volume manufacturing processes and common quality control principles
- Familiarity with standardized and automotive laboratory test methods
- Computer literacy in basic PC-based office software
- English language competency
- Chinese language skill is a plus
