Test Technician
Position Summary:
The Test Technician will be responsible for testing and inspecting electronic components to ensure they meet quality standards. This role involves performing various tests, documenting results, and assisting with other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine tests on RF equipment using specialized equipment.
- Inspect product for defects, such as leaks, filament breaks, or plate damage.
- Record test results accurately and in a timely manner.
Component Testing:
- Test other electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
- Utilize various testing instruments, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Identify and report any defective components.
Quality Control:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Inspect products for defects and non-conformances.
- Take corrective actions as needed to maintain quality.
Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of test results, inspections, and quality issues.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required.
General Lab Duties:
- Assist with laboratory maintenance and organization.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical components.
- Ability to operate testing equipment accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Physical Requirements:
