Penske Logistics is looking for a receiving clerk to become part of an excellent team. Responsible for shipping and receiving procedures. Responsible for ensuring that the paperwork for all shipments leaving the distribution center is complete and accurate. You will check drivers in and out throughout day, handle bills of lading (BOL’s), and utilize various systems and frequently interact with warehouse personnel and carriers. Why is Penske Logistics for you? **We take pride in offering a competitive wage and great benefits including:** •Base Rate - $18.50/hr **Work Schedule:** Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm (Weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed) **Additional Benefits:** • Paid Time Off • Medical Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • Life Insurance • 401K • $125 Boot allowance after 90-days of employment • Associate Referral Program **Our associates also enjoy numerous associate discounts and opportunities to grow with the organization!** **Job Responsibilities:** • Supply reordering • Researching customer claims • Processing Inbound and Outbound shipments in the warehouse • Control the flow of work to meet departure and receiving times • Resolve discrepancies • Interact with warehouse associates and trouble shoot issues • Utilizing customer ordering system (eCPTS and/or SAP). • Processing invoices • Assist with daily and weekly reports • Jointly work with Supervisors and Management to meet warehouse metrics • Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements • Other projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • 1 year of shipping/receiving experience preferred • 1 year of customer service experience required • Strong computer and mathematical skills required • Frequent interaction with warehouse workers with daily tasks, good interpersonal skills required • Multi-tasking required, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening. **Physical Requirements:** •The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
