**Position Summary: ** This position is for EPES Transport, LLC., a division of Penske Logistics, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. The primary purpose of the Dedicated Operations Manager role is to manage the day-to-day operation of assigned Dedicated Account(s), ensuring that Safety, Customer, and Driver Goals are met or exceeded. Driving profitability through contract compliance, expense mitigation, and business growth. Focus on delivering Revenue, Operating Income, and Pretax, review financial statements to identify opportunities for improvement. Must work tactically and strategically to accomplish business needs. **Schedule:** Onsite, Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM **Responsibilities: **   • Schedule customer shipments to meet service expectations, serving as the primary point of contact for tactical customer needs. • Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll in accordance with company policies. • Submit billing accurately and on time; collaborate with customers to resolve any billing issues promptly. • Manage daily driver interactions, addressing operational concerns and escalating issues as needed. • Coordinate with PTL to ensure timely preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment. • Execute company safety programs, including Smart Drive, High Risk Driver Reporting, and driver coaching. • Contribute to the development and execution of business plan goals, aligning daily operations with strategic objectives. • Other projects and tasks as assigned. **Qualifications:** • HS Diploma / GED required • At least 2 years of Transportation Operation Experience required • Independent problem solving skills required • Intermediate computer skills • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required. **Physical Requirements:** • The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions • The associate will be required to: read; communicate verbally and/or in written form; remember and analyze certain information; and remember and understand certain instructions or guidelines • While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to stand, walk, and sit.  The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.  The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs/12kg • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus  _Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer._ **About Epes Transport** Epes Transport, a Penske Logistics company, delivers dependable truckload transportation services with a strong presence in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and Midwest.
