Warehouse Worker - Forklift Operators - Multiple Shifts

Forklift Operators:

• Preference will be given to applicants with prior forklift experience

Schedule (Subject to Change):

• 1st Shift
• Monday – Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm
• Sunday – Thursday, 6 am to 2:30 pm
• Monday – Saturday, 7 am to 3:30 pm
• 2nd Shift
• Monday – Friday, 3 pm to 11:30 pm
• Sunday – Thursday, 3 pm to 11:30 pm
• Monday – Saturday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am

Compensation:

• Base Pay Rate - $21.12 per hour
• Shift Differential for 2 nd Shift - $1.00 per hour
• Weekend Shift Differential for Sunday-Thursday schedule - $2.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading

• Loads and unloads trailers

• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets

• Move materials within the warehouse

• Complies with all safety requirements

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)

• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system

• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Warehouse Workers (Pick/Pack):

• No Experience required

Schedule (Subject to Change):

• 1st Shift: Monday – Saturday, 7 am to 3pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Saturday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am

Compensation:

• Base Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
• Shift Differential for 2nd Shift - $1.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Picking/packing parts in a manner to ensure accuracy and prevent damage – at times process may deviate

• Physically and systematically placing inbound freight – at times process may deviate

• Report product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged product

• Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory

• Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

• Must be willing to be trained and certified to operate the following pieces of equipment

• Reach Truck Operator

• Pallet Jack (electrical or manual)

• Cherry Picker /Stock Chaser

Qualifications for Warehouse Workers :

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required

• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required

• Flexible to work overtime preferred

• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required

• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
