Longo Toyota & Lexus Housekeeper

We’re looking for Team Members who are eager, well-rounded, ambitious and who want to jump into a new and exciting career. Our Housekeeping Team is responsible for taking care of our 50 acre campus in a clean and orderly manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent housekeeping skills, good communication, and the ability to follow directions. The Longo Housekeeper Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Rate of $19.00-$21.00.

• This position is 100% on site at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA.

• Cleans and maintains all areas of the dealership.
• Cleans floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
• Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners.
• Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Inspects designated areas of the dealership and repairs and cleans when appropriate.
• Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Assists in all other areas of the maintenance department, as needed.
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
• Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance.
  
  
  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess

• A high school diploma or equivalent, desired.
• Previous Janitorial/Housekeeping experience or related field, desired.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance and gardening; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public.

• Constant standing/walking
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, or crawling
• Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 lbs.

• Constant bar equipment usage
• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
• Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around bar area
• Constant receiving detailed information through oral communication
