Operations Assistant (Supply Chain/Logistics)

Position Summary:

Performs general administrative responsibilities including filing, faxing, scanning, creating & maintaining files, and sorting mail.

Major Responsibilities:

• Supports applicable financial functions (i.e. payroll, creating Purchase Orders, process A/P)
• Gathering, tracking, reporting of data, conducting basic audits
• Answer and respond to general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Order, receive and store office supplies, prepare memos, track associate documentation as required
• Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
• Accountable for maintaining a safe work environment
• Works within a project budget as applicable
• Meets deadlines for reports and activities
• Adherence to company guidelines and expectations
• Other projects as assigned by the supervisor
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Inter / Intranet use required
• Must have strong organizational skills
• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others in a team environment
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
