Job Overview
The Pension Analyst plays a crucial role in administering a case load of qualified retirement plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of retirement plans.
Duties
- Managing relationship with clients, advisors, auditors, actuaries, attorneys and accountants.
- Preparation of annual valuation reports and IRS Form 5500's for qualified retirement plans.
- Compliance testing, calculating contribution amounts and asset reconciliation.
- Providing plan design and solutions for compliance issues.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong data analysis skills for evaluating retirement plan compliance.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
