Alumni & Career Service Office Assistant
The Alumni & Career Services Office Assistant supports the office by taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, coordinating usage of the Display Room, handling details for various events, and assisting with department projects as assigned.
Maintain Office Area and Communications
Answer phone calls, greet guests, and answer student's questions. Keep the office area organized and approachable. Update and send communication to students, staff, faculty, and partner organizations. Maintain and stock all department forms.
Coordinate the Display Room
Keep open communication with organizations scheduling the display room as well as walk through to ensure individuals using the display room have what they need. Report findings to the Director of Alumni & Career Services.
Maintain Schedules
Schedule appointments for Alumni and Career Services, Financial Advising, and Institutional Relations. Schedule coaching sessions for interview prep or resume reviews and facilitate student grievances. Assist in maintaining the Director of Alumni & Career Services calendar.
Assist with Event Details
Assist with reserving rooms, handling facility set up diagrams, and submitting HVAC needs and housing requests. Assist the Coordinator for Career Services with events both on and off campus. Coordinate travel arrangements for Alumni Reconnects.
