Interim manager - IT, Cyber security and infrastructure leader

We are looking for an IT, Cyber & Infrastructure Leader for North America to join our team, for one of our clients.

The manager will join the client teams as the IT, Cyber & Infrastructure Leader for the North America region of an international industrial Group. Reports to the IT Group Director, with a functional link to the Group Head of Cybersecurity & Infrastructure.

Core mission: manage the North America IT team ; build, deploy and embed the Group cybersecurity standards across North America, advance the IT security culture with local management teams, and ensure reliable, secure information infrastructure & systems supporting the business.

Primary Responsibilities

Project & Program Management

•   Lead local IT project governance and PMO practices (demand, change, risks, dashboards)

•   Partner with key stakeholders to communicate progress, financials, issues and risks

•   Drive project engagements and rollout of defined solutions

People & Leadership

•   Manage and mentor the North America IT Team in a high-performance culture

•   Coach, recruit, train and evaluate IT staff

•   Manage local IT partners and vendors

Cybersecurity & IT Standards

•   Deploy and enforce the Group IT security standards across all systems, including industrial / OT environments

•   Build, document and communicate local security policies aligned with Group standards

•   Promote IT security awareness and best practices to local management teams and business stakeholders; influence decisions through clear, structured analysis

•   Manage system updates; maintain centralized, up-to-date documentation

•   Diagnose and resolve end-user systems issues in a timely manner

•   Continuously improve monitoring, logging and processes; ensure application availability

Group Collaboration

•   Maintain software licenses; identify efficiencies and cost-reduction opportunities

•   Contribute to the Group IT roadmap and align local capabilities with Group goals

Required Qualifications

IT, Cybersecurity & infrastructure expertise (must have)

•   Senior cybersecurity expertise: ability to design, document and roll out IT security standards in an enterprise environment

•   Proven track record using risk management practices to reduce exposure and vulnerabilities

•   Senior infrastructure expertise: Proven expertise with Microsoft enterprise stack: Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, SQL Server, Office 365 (Intune, Azure AD)

•   Proven expertise in cloud technologies in an enterprise environment

•   Strong LAN/WAN administration and escalation handling

•   Understanding of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) best practices

Leadership & program management

•   Led IT program management, ideally in manufacturing contexts

•   Strong leadership: building, coaching and growing IT teams

•   Excellent ability to communicate technical and security topics to senior management; influence business decisions and promote IT security at the executive level

Work Location and Employment Type:

Location: South Carolina, near Greenville. Ability to travel out of the office in North America and occasionally in Europe.

Type of assignment: 5d/week, in hybrid mode (minimum 3 days on client site(s) per week, - 2 days remote).

Duration: 6 months, with potential renewal and hiring by the client.

Start Date: ASAP

Type of contract: start as a contractor, with the possibility of being hired as a W2 by Penon Partners or by the client.
