Landscape Laborer / General Laborer
Penobscot Property Maintenance is looking for a hardworking, reliable individual to join our growing team. This is a physically demanding outdoor position with a variety of landscaping and property maintenance work. We need someone who shows up on time, works hard, learns quickly, and can keep up in a fast-paced environment.
This is not just mowing lawns every day — work includes landscaping, mulch installation, mowing, weedwhacking, cleanups, property maintenance, and other general labor tasks. Every day can be different, so flexibility and a strong work ethic are important.
Responsibilities
- Mowing, weedwhacking, edging, and general lawn care
- Mulch installation, garden bed maintenance, and property cleanups
- Assisting with landscape projects and outdoor construction work
- Operating landscaping equipment and power tools safely
- Loading/unloading materials and keeping job sites clean
- Working efficiently as part of a team to complete jobs on schedule
- Assisting with seasonal work including fall cleanups and snow removal
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stay active throughout the day
- Experience in landscaping or construction is preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently when needed
