What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Based Health Center Dentist (Per-Diem) position at Penobscot Community Health Care?

Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking an experienced Dentist to provide Per-Diem coverage as part of our School-Based Health Center services. This is a unique and developing opportunity to practice locally and play a key foundational role in increasing access to dental services for students ages 5-18.
Highlights:
- Shifts as needed, not to exceed 20 hours per week.
- Some flexibility in schedule.
- Providing dental services to community school-based health programs ages ranging from 5-18 years old.
- Working collaboratively with the Executive Clinical Director of Dentistry, Executive Division Director, and Dental Practice Director, identifying methods and means to meet the needs of the program.
- A rewarding position to support early prevention and restorative care to children.
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible, licensed in the State of Maine.
- Must be comfortable in a dynamic, developing care environment.
- Work will be in-person, on-site within our School Based Health Center sites in Bangor and Brewer Schools.
