The Senior Analyst acts as a technical analytics leader, designing, developing, and delivering data-driven solutions that support enterprise reporting, performance measurement, and strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and leadership to translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-quality analytical solutions that drive actionable insights and operational efficiency.
This role requires deep, hands-on expertise in Snowflake SQL development, including complex query optimization, stored procedure development, and deployment across environments. The Senior Business Analyst also develops and maintains SSIS packages for data ingestion and transformation while ensuring data quality, reliability, and scalability of analytical solutions.
As a Senior Analyst, you will be the architect of our data’s "Source of Truth." You are responsible for the end-to-end journey of data: from ingestion (internal and external sources) to the creation of standardized "Hubs" layers. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will ensure our data is normalized, performant, and always available. You don't just analyze data; you build the robust systems that make analysis possible.

- The Senior Analyst will:
- Data Architecture & Modeling: Design and implement the "Hub" layer to standardize and normalize disparate data sources into a unified schema.
- Data Normalization: Identify and resolve data quality issues at the source, ensuring consistent naming conventions and logic across the Hub layer.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize SQL queries and data structures within Snowflake/SQL Server to handle high-volume processing with minimal latency.
- Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from internal databases and external third-party APIs.
- Reliability & Uptime: Take ownership of data availability. Monitor pipeline health and implement automated checks to ensure 100% uptime for downstream consumers.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Work with stakeholders to understand business logic and translate it into scalable data models.
- Experience: 3 Years in a highly technical data role (Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Technical BA).
- SQL Mastery: Advanced SQL skills are non-negotiable (Window functions, complex joins, DDL/DML, and performance optimization).
- Data Modeling: Practical experience with normalization, Star Schema, or Data Vault (Hubs/Satellites) methodologies.
- Tools: Deep experience with Snowflake
- ETL tools (e.g., SSIS) a plus.
- Resilience: A "DevOps" mindset toward data—prioritizing uptime, error handling, and alerting.
- Source Integration: Experience handling JSON/XML from external APIs and converting it into structured relational tables.
- On-site requirement (Not remote or hybrid)
- Excellent skills in use of SQL to gather data from a variety of sources
- Highly proficient skills with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
- Experience in meeting and presenting to Senior Management
