NMLS Licensing Specialist II

NMLS (LO) Licensing Specialist is responsible for NMLS licensing activities needed to ensure Loan Originators are properly licensed per NMLS requirements in the States in which the Company operates. As the Licensing Specialist, you will perform multiple business support functions and assist management and other team member(s) with various special projects related to Loan Officer licensing requirements in accordance with Company procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines.

The LO Licensing Specialist will:

• Review Loan Officer continuing education history 
• Instruct new LOs on the educational requirements for obtaining state licenses
• Review license applications for accuracy and completeness and forward completed application packages to applicable State licensing agencies
• Monitor licensing applications in progress with State licensing offices and respond to regulators on deficiencies in NMLS applications
• Assist management with State licensing renewals
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

• Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
• Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role 
• Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role 

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. 

Salary : $50,000 - $75,000
