Assistant VP Business Operations and Strategy

The Assistant Vice President Business Operations and Strategy will lead, evaluate and support day to day operations of Pennymac CLG Fulfillment. As the AVP Business Operations, you will construct metrics and design reporting to measure the performance of operational processes, fulfillment associates, and clients.

The Assistant VP Business Operations and Strategy will:

• Proactively identify “root causes” for process misalignment and client friction
• Interact with Pennymac’s Secondary Marketing department to keep abreast with Pennymac’s and secondary marketing investors’ (FNMA, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA and private label) credit policies
• Ensure that all loans are purchased in accordance with Pennymac and secondary marketing investors’ credit policies
• Partner with key clients to improve synergy between Pennymac CLG and their operations
• Provide Executive Leaders at Pennymac key data required to drive strategic plan
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred
• 5 years of mortgage experience
• Thorough understanding of all aspects of Correspondent Lending process
• Contemporary knowledge of mortgage industry and operational practices
• Functional understanding of applicable Federal, state and local lending regulations
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

• Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
• Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role 
• Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role 

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. 

Salary : $90,000 - $150,000
