Job Summary:
Family Preservation Clinical Supervisor (CS) oversees the daily operations and delivery of services for our Family Preservation Program (FP). CS provides supervision to the Family Preservation staff members, including home support counselors . CS ensures growth and movement of all families that are in the family preservation program. CS facilitates the Multidisciplinary Case Planning Conferences and develops a service plan that best suits the specific family. CS Reviews and approves monthly notes for Family Preservation cases and Up-Front Assessments. CS manages budget compliance, discretionary funds, and billing guidance with required documentation.
CS must be able to work independently and utilize quality planning and organization. CS needs to have leadership skills and the ability to conduct on the job training and coaching. CS engages with DCFS staff and other community-based organizations to advocate for families and children and to ensure best practices and quality of services. CS is a leader that promotes a culture of safety, empathy, and compassion, encourages staff to be heart centered and authentic in the treatment and care provided to all clients and is in alignment with PL vision, mission, and values. Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited or State approved graduate school in Social Work (MSW) or a related field of study.
- Must be a State of California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or have a Clinical Psychology Degree from an accredited or State approved graduate school.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing services to inner-city families from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
- Must have demonstrated ability to collaborate with other professionals.
- Bilingual Spanish Required (verbal and written skillset).
- Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.
Position Location: North Hills, CA
Position Status: Part-Time.
Flexible schedules are available upon successful completion of introductory period.
Salary Range: $37.02 up to $42.74 per hour
Additional $2.00 per hour bilingual Spanish differential.
Eligible employees may request up to 5 days of Paid Time Off to study for their licensure.
