Job Summary:

The Lead Intake Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the process of receiving, screening, processing, and tracking all referrals that come into the Intensive Services Program for the agency. The Lead Intake Coordinator will process all referrals and disenrollments for the Antelope Valley and will oversee the Intake and Disenrollment process in North Hills and Commerce. The Lead Intake Coordinator is responsible for providing information about Penny Lane’s services to clients, DMH representatives and the community. The Lead Intake Coordinator will receive referrals from DMH and open an account in the EHR, upload all documents received with the referral into the HER, assign the referrals to teams as indicated by the Program Directors, and complete a disposition regarding the status of the enrollment that is uploaded into the SRTS. The Lead Intake Coordinator will train and oversee that the IS Intake Coordinators in North Hills and Commerce understand the process and will track all the enrollments and slot availability in Wraparound, FSP, and IFCCS for their assigned service area. The Lead Intake Coordinator is expected to work in collaboration with the Intensive Services Supervisor team. The Lead Intake Coordinator will create, revise and maintain an Intake Manual for the Intake Coordinators and Supervisors to be able to access and utilize.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree with 2 years of Intake experience.  
• Or a high school diploma with 3 years of intake experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products, as well as the willingness and ability to learn specialized software as needed.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred (verbal skillset only).
• Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.

Position Location: Lancaster, CA

Salary Range: $25.62 - $31.54 per hour

Additional $1.00 per hour bilingual Spanish differential.
