What are the responsibilities and job description for the Faculty, Welding & Fabrication Engineering Technology position at Pennsylvania College of Technology?
Pennsylvania College of Technology is seeking a Faculty Member in Welding & Fabrication Engineering Technology to begin with the Fall 2026 semester. This position is responsible for educational leadership, student instruction, and student advising within the Welding & Fabrication Engineering Technology department. The faculty member will teach and evaluate student performance in areas such as:
• Weld Design
• High Energy Density Welding Processes
• Fabrication of Alloys
• Non-Destructive Testing
• Welding Codes and Procedures
• Foundational Welding Processes (Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, and Flux Cored Arc Welding)
Minimum education and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Welding Engineering, Welding Technology, or closely related discipline.
- Five (5) years of industrial experience in welding.
