Are you an experienced procurement professional ready to take on a hands-on leadership role? Pennsylvania College of Technology is seeking an Assistant Director of Procurement Services in planning, developing, and administering our centralized procurement and contracting programs.
Working closely with the Director of Procurement Services, this position provides leadership, technical expertise, and operational support in:
• Competitive procurement and strategic sourcing
• Contract administration and negotiations
• Supplier management and procurement compliance
• Complex, high-value, and specialized procurement initiatives
• Procurement strategies, best practices, and process improvement
• Risk reduction and maximizing the value of College expenditures
The Assistant Director will independently lead complex procurement initiatives, advise College departments, and serve as the Director’s designee in the Director’s absence, providing operational leadership to ensure continuity of procurement operations, supplier relationships, and critical purchasing functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field
• 5–7 years of progressively responsible professional procurement experience, including competitive solicitations, vendor negotiations, contract review and administration, bid preparation and analysis, purchase order administration, and standard procurement practices and procedures
• Proficiency with procurement and financial management systems, Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word, and Adobe
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) procurement systems and electronic procurement platforms.
Salary: $72,000–$80,000 annually, based on minimum education and experience qualifications.
