Stone Veneer Mason Foreman

Position Summary:

Penn Star is seeking a reliable, Stone Veneer Mason Foreman, a highly experienced individual who will be responsible for leading a crew to complete Stone Veneer projects.

Position Type:

• Full-time 1st shift with varying start times (dependent on job site location)
• Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a small crew

• Install stone veneer on buildings, foundations, chimneys, and feature walls

• Install real and manufactured stone systems (cultured stone, panel systems, etc.)

• Lay out, plan, and execute jobs to meet quality standards and deadlines

• Read and work from blueprints and project drawings

• Coordinate materials, tools, and site logistics

• Train less experienced laborers

• Enforce safety on every job

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience installing stone veneer (not general masonry)

• Crew Lead on job sites

• Residential exterior cladding (wood-frame buildings)

• Substrate prep

• Site coordination (other crews/homeowners)

• Setting and finishing techniques

• Layout/measurement (laser, levels, chalk lines)

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work different shifts, long hours (8-12 hours)

• Must be organized and be able to prioritize workflow

• Must have strong communication skills

• Ability to obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate

• Must have a Valid Driver’s License

• Ability to produce quality products at an efficient rate

• Working outside in elements

• Ability to lift to 100 lbs. occasionally; routinely lifting 50lbs.

• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach to perform everyday job task

• Visual acuity, stamina, good hand/eye coordination

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wages based on experience

• Hourly pay plus rate for how much concrete is poured. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
