Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations and restaurant policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as country club
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills during high-volume shifts
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus; experience in bussing or guest relations is beneficial
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
