Site/Civil CAD Designer

Pennoni is hiring!  In particular, we are looking for a Site/Civil CAD Designer to contribute to our projects on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Princeton, NJ.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform CAD Drafting while utilizing survey field data.
• Prepare Site/Civil drawings including grading, utility and E&S plans.
• Prepare various forms of site/civil details and exhibits.
• Provide office support; this includes performing area, slope and volume computations.
• Ensure scheduling and productivity objectives are achieved.
• Field work (on an as-needed basis) observing construction and assisting surveyors.

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• 2 years of professional experience or post high school education in Civil Design and/or Civil Drafting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with engineering CADD tools; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus!
• Proficiency on all standard Microsoft Office software applications.

• Proven ability to perform and engage in physically-demanding work, especially manual labor in a field-based capacity.

• Proven ability to utilize technical mathematics.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); proven active listening skills is a plus!

 TARGET HOURLY RANGE:  $35 - $45 (per hour)
