Job Description
Pennoni currently has an opening in our Clearwater, Florida office for a full-time Senior-Level Site/Civil Engineering Project Manager with a concentration in Land Development.
The Engineer is expected to design and oversee various civil engineering projects, as well as oversee the civil staff.
Projects may include residential, commercial, and municipal civil design and construction; site layout and permitting, grading, stormwater management design and permitting, utilities, parking studies, due diligence, and construction administration.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Complete project management for site/civil engineering projects in Florida.
- Coordinate with design team for production of construction documents.
- Engineer of Record for civil projects
- Attend project, public, and internal meetings and hearings, present project status reports, and participate in public meetings on behalf of the client as required.
- Develop and monitor project scopes, schedules, and budgets to meet client objectives.
- Direct and supervise the activities of design engineers, designers, and other staff.
- Proposal preparation including project approach, scope of services, and fees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; public speaking and presenting.
- Motivated, organized, and able to work well independently and with others.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Florida Professional Engineer’s License
- Minimum of Five years of experience in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in managing a group of professionals
