What are the responsibilities and job description for the Precast Concrete Inspector - Full Time/Part Time -Mid-Atlantic Region position at Pennoni?
Pennoni is hiring full-time and part-time Precast Concrete Inspector’s for offsite fabrication inspection at precast and prestressed concrete plants located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States (PA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, VA, NC).
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- In-plant Quality Assurance inspection of precast and prestressed concrete highway and bridge materials for various transportation agencies.
- Sampling and testing of plastic concrete may be required.
- Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings and specifications.
- Attend meetings and communicate with fabricators, clients and engineers.
- Produce daily written shop reports.
Required Attributes:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
- PCI Level I,II or III Certification
- ACI Grade 1 Concrete Field Testing Technician Certification
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work well independently and with others
- Need reliable transportation
- Must be able to work construction schedules, which may include overtime as necessary to meet project/client schedules
- Precast concrete or reinforced concrete experience
Preferred Attributes:
- NETTCP Certification
- Prestressed concrete experience
