About Us: At the forefront of medical discovery as it relates to understanding the causes of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and dementia, Pennington Biomedical Research Center is a campus of Louisiana State University and conducts basic, clinical and population research. Job Responsibilities Processing biological specimens for testing. Maintenance of Clinical Chemistry Core (CCC) and PBRC Biorepository programs. Management of central laboratory processes associated with clinical trials. Development of laboratory processes and documents for assigned clinical trials. Field support of clinical trials conducted in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Defense. General laboratory maintenance and quality control. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. One year of work experience in a laboratory or clinic preferred.
