We seek candidates who plan to expand their research career as a chronic disease epidemiologist.
Job Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this position are to work with two ongoing NIH (LaCATs BMI core) and PROCI supported projects.
Additional Duties
Additional work will involve analyzing collected data, drafting manuscripts for peer-reviewed journal submission, and participating in grant proposal submissions.
Skills, Education, And Experience Required
Candidates are those who have completed doctoral training in epidemiology, public health or related fields. This position will be for a two-year term, renewable for a third, based upon performance and a mutual desire to continue the appointment. The ideal candidate will have strong writing, quantitative, and communication skills, and the ability to think creatively on research. The candidate selected for this position must meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States through the period employment. Position is available for immediate filling.
