What are the responsibilities and job description for the HS Social Studies Teacher position at Penney High School?
Penney High School is seeking a dynamic social studies teacher to join our team of dedicated educators for the 2025-2026 school year. Coaching/Sponsor opportunities could be available as well. Penney High School is located in Hamilton, MO which is about 40 miles East of St. Joseph, MO, at the intersection of 36 Highway and Highway 13. We have an enrollment of approximately 200 students. The position is likely to include American History and World History. PHS is on a block schedule which allows for 90 minutes of plan each day. Subject area certification in social studies is preferred, but we would be willing to consider teachers with other certifications or alternative certification candidates.
