- Learn to change over tooling, then debug and troubleshoot it
- Get hands-on training with precision measuring tools and Tool Room machinery
- Keep machines and the Tool Room clean, oiled, and running safely
- Take on more responsibility as your skills and schooling advance

- High school diploma or GED (or related training or experience)
- Strong mechanical ability and a head for numbers
- Enrollment in an apprentice program at an accredited institution
- The ability to follow detailed instructions and work through problems with a team
